24 December 2008 - In the winter of 2005-2006, Andrey Konoplyanik, as Deputy Secretary General
of the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels, was involved in settling a gas dispute between
Moscow and Kiev. In an interview with Economic News (EN), he talked about how this time Gazprom
and Naftogaz of Ukraine might find mutual understanding, so that the companies fulfill their
obligations for continuous gas supplies to European consumers.
