Introduction
Energy Justice and Energy Law, written and edited by a distinguished ensemble of law academics, is an in-depth and critical study of energy justice. The book demonstrates that energy justice is a theoretical and interdisciplinary concept that must nevertheless depend on the operation of law and policy to make meaningful impact in the energy sector. In concrete terms, the chapters in the book not only adopt law and policy as point of departure, but also demonstrate how the concept of energy justice may be delivered through legal rules and institutions. To that end, therefore, the book may be considered as making a significant contribution to the subject of energy justice.
