Senake Gajameragedara

Senake Gajameragedara has recently completed the financial advisory work to the U.S. Ex-Im Bank and SACE for the $9.3 billion Qatargas II LNG project, where he performed financial modeling, credit analysis and commercial contract review. Other recent assignments include the economic and market analysis of the Equatorial Guinea LNG project and a Russian LNG project, both targeting U.S. natural gas markets, where he benchmarked commercial structures and competitiveness relative to comparable projects. Mr. Gajameragedara has also provided analysis of key terms and trends in LNG commercial agreements to a leading Latin American gas distributor.
In the petrochemical sector, Mr. Gajameragedara has recently analyzed joint venture structuring, financing options, and built a detailed financial model for a world-scale complex under development in Saudi Arabia.
Previously, he was a Senior Consultant with the Energy Practice at Navigant Consulting in Burlington, Massachusetts, where he provided sell-side and buy-side financial advisory services to leading U.S. utilities and IPPs.
Mr. Gajameragedara has an M.A. in International Affairs (Distinction in Energy & International Finance) from the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Middlebury College (Magna Cum Laude).
