Christer Söderlund is a renowned and respected practitioner in the field of international arbitration. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the SCC Arbitration Institute (2007-2009) and was appointed by the Swedish Government to the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators in 2006. He is included on the Panels of Arbitrators of several arbitration institutions, including the International Commercial Arbitration Court, Moscow, Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration, the Kazakhstani International Arbitrage, the Beijing Arbitration Commission, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the ICDR Energy Arbitrators' List (the sole appointee from Sweden). Christer's practice has a global breadth and encompasses in particular Russia and CIS and the energy practice. He is also a frequent lecturer in the field of international arbitration.
