Professor Dan Shi

Dr. Shi Dan is senior research fellow and director at Energy Economics Research Center of Institute of Industrial Economics Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), which she joined in 1993. Shi Dan received her PhD degree from Huazhong Science and Technology University and master degrees in economics separately from Australian National University and Renmin University of China. Bachelor degree in engineering from Changchun Industrial Engineering University.
Her work field is the energy economy, energy policy, energy price, energy security energy market reform in China in recent ten years. Shi has public more than 80 research reports and articles Shi has been granted 13 research awards from CASS and Development Research Center of State Council and Ministry of National Science and Technology, etc.
Shi current leads three research projects supported by government "China Energy Security Strategy", "Compare of Energy Efficiency" and "Energy Supply System in China" and key research fellow in the research project: "Domestic and Geopolitical Challenges to Energy Security for China and the European Union" which is cooperating research by both Chinese Scholar and European Union Scholar.
