Dr. Richard Weixing Hu, is currently a fellow at Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies, the Brookings Institution. He is on leave from the faculty of the University of Hong Kong, where he is an associate professor of political science. His teaching and research interests include East Asian international politics, Chinese foreign policy, and cross-Strait relations. He was educated and has taught in China and the United States. His research at Brookings Institution focuses on China, the United States, and East Asian community-building.
