Michael B. Cummings is a consultant to the renewable energy industry. Previously, he was a Senior Advisor in the Office of the President and CEO at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), the U.S. Government’s Development Finance Institution. Prior to OPIC, he held various project acquisition, development, and risk management positions with MMA/Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, ClearPeak Advisors and Enfinity America Corporation (purchased by SunEdison). Prior to joining MMA Renewable Ventures, Professor Cummings worked as a Business/Solutions Fellow at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change (now the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions). He received his B.S., B.A., and M.S. from Stanford University, and a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
