Kun-Chin Lin is Professor of Military and Security Studies for United States Space Force, STARCOM, and Adjunct Professor at the School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University.

He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, and obtained his PhD in political science from the University of California at Berkeley. Kun-Chin was a Leverhulme Postdoctoral Fellow in Contemporary Chinese Studies at the University of Oxford, and Assistant Professor of Political Science at the National University of Singapore.
