Dr Seyed N Ebrahimi (LLB 1990, Iran; LLM 1994, UK; and Ph.D. 1998, UK) is the Associate Professor of Law in the Faculty of Political Sciences and Law, lecturing oil and gas laws and contracts, international trade law, private international law. He is an outstanding legal counsel, Attorney at Law, and legal expert dealing with international claims and disputes particularly in oil and gas industry. He is the member of the High Council of Bar Association of Judiciary Centre in Iran. He is the CEO of the Dadgoo Law Firm since 2003. He is the Secretary of the Ethical Committee of IPMA and Deputy Chairman and a member of the Board of the IPMA of Iran. He was recognized as the Outstanding Construction Law Figure and Man of the Year 2021 in Iran
He was the Ex-Chairman of the Board of Management of the Bar Association of Tehran; member of the Board and Legal & Contractual Director of PEDEC/NIOC; the chief negotiator of international petroleum contracts for Iran oil and gas industry; a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK; a legal advisor to the Bureau of International and Legal Services (B.I.L.S) dealing with Iran-US Tribunal claims (1992-1999), the Hague-Tehran; a member of the "British Institution on International Law", UK; a member of the International Bar Association, UK; a member of the "International Family Law Institution", the Hague, Netherlands. He was the drafter of newly developed Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC)

He has written books in Farsi (Private International Law (Introduction, Nationality, Domicile, Status of Aliens and Refuges, Extradition and Foreign Investment in Iran); Introduction to the Modern International Economic Law; Legal-Contractual Requirements of Maximum Utilization of Local Content in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry Projects; and in English (Mandatory Rules and Other Party Autonomy Limitations in International Contractual Obligations, with Particular Reference to the Rome Convention, 1980) and so many articles in international contractual obligations; private international law; international commercial arbitration; Iran's oil Buy-Back Contracts; Insurance in developing oil and gas industry; product liability and consumer protection.
