Pilar V. Cerón holds an LL.M in International Business from University College London - UCL - and a Masters Degree in Private & Corporate Law from Pontificia Bolivariana University (Colombia).
Mrs. Cerón has worked as an International Negotiator in the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Colombia, dealing with several International Investment Agreements negotiations. She has also been a full time lecturer, researcher and consultant at different universities in Colombia (EAFIT University -Medellín- and Rosario University -Bogotá-). In addition, Mrs. Cerón carried out numerous field-research projects abroad (McGill University -Canada- and Lancaster University -United Kingdom-), most of them related to foreign investment issues in the Latin American region. As a result of her research activities, she has published several papers, in both local and international magazines.
