Hubertus von Rosenberg is Case Handler in the Directorate-General for Competition. He has experience in merger control and state aid control with a special focus on the environmental sector and the energy sector.
Hubertus von Rosenberg studied German law at the universities of Passau and Bonn (Germany) as well as European Law at the University of Tours (France). Before entering the European Commission he worked as a lawyer for a German law firm and a U.S. investment fund for several years.
Hubertus von Rosenberg holds an LL.M. in Energy and Environmental Law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and has published several articles on energy law and competition law.
