Pablo is an Argentine lawyer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires in 1989, and has a Postgraduate Course in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Buenos Aires (1998).

He is Founding Partner of MHR | Martínez de Hoz & Rueda, a law firm established in Buenos Aires dedicated to diverse areas, such as energy, corporate, finance, dispute resolution, tax and regulatory law, among others. He was in 2022 President of the Argentine Texas Chamber of Commerce, and professor of Oil & Gas Contracts at the postgraduate program of Austral University. Pablo has more than 30 years of experience in oil and gas, conventional and renewable energy, mining and natural resources-related transactions and arbitrations. Ranked by Chambers Global in Corporate M&A, Energy and Natural Resources: Oil & Gas (Band 1) by Chambers Latin America, and Power (Band 2) by Chambers Latin America.

From 1989 until 1997, he worked as an Associate at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal, and acted as Head of its New York Office from 1993 to 1996. Pablo became Partner at Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites, Arnsten & Martínez de Hoz in 1991, where he worked until 2017.

He is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and has working knowledge of Mandarin.
