Pablo Rueda leads the firm's renewable energy practice. Likewise. Mr. Rueda plays a key role in the firm's energy sector and international trade regulatory practices. Since graduating from Buenos Aires Law School in 1988, Mr. Rueda has represented leading foreign corporations in complex cross border commercial, construction, energy, oil & gas, M&A, project finance and litigation and international arbitration matters.
Mr. Rueda is named in Chambers Latin America as a leading lawyer in Energy & Natural Resources. Mr. Rueda joined PAGBAM in May 1998 and became partner in December 2000. Between 1994 and 1996, he opened and headed the New York office of another Argentine law firm, while he was admitted as Foreign Legal Consultant in the State of New York. Previously, he worked in 1993 as foreign internship in a London law firm. Between 1985 and 1988 he worked at the Argentine Ministry of Justice.
Mr. Rueda has authored publications including "Price terms in natural gas long term supply agreements" (La Ley, May 2001); "The Re-routing of private property: Resolution SE N° 503/2004" (La Ley, September, 2004) and "The Rule of Law and Energy Development" (Buenos Aires Bar magazine, December 2006). He has also acted as speaker in many local and international conferences (IBA Regional Conference, Cuzco 2002, New York State Bar, Fall 1995, among others).
He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Buenos Aires Bar, where he acts as secretary of the environmental law commission.
