Profile

Ioanna Mersinia is an attorney at Law, based in Athens, specializing in Energy Law. She has a Law Degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Law, Economics and Political Science (2009). Ioanna also holds a MSc of European Regulation of Network Industries (LL.M), Competition Law and Economics (2011), awarded from the University of Bonn and the Center for European Integration Studies (ZEI). Through her Master's studies she specialized in EU energy regulation and economics and in particular in the electricity and natural gas industry. Furthermore, she is a PhD candidate of the University of Eastern Finland majoring European Energy Law.

Ioanna Mersinia is a member of the Lawyers' Bar Association of Athens. Since 2014 she is a Legal Officer at the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) in Greece within the International Affairs and Energy Planning Unit.
