Steven Terry is a paralegal in the firm's Environment, Energy & Resources practice group, where he specializes in all aspects of oil and gas transactions and litigation. He has worked on numerous oil and gas purchase and sale transactions, including due diligence review and research, title and engineering file management and document finalization. Steve also has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, including oil and gas and oil field environmental contamination, with an emphasis on managing large discovery, involving both hard copy and electronically stored documents, and trial preparation and courtroom presentation. Prior to joining Perkins Coie, he worked at other Denver law firms for 27 years as a litigation paralegal practicing in state and federal jurisdictions across the country, with an emphasis on resources litigation. Steve has assisted with tracking sales and finalization of agreements of crude oil and gas derivative products on an international basis. He has assisted in arbitration and mediation proceedings involving many industries in different forums. He has worked on examining title documents and organization of documents for energy closings. He also assists with the Firm's Mining Safety and Health Act ("MSHA") and environmental compliance practice groups.
