Jan Israr Khan holds an MBA (Quaid-e-Azam University) and LLB degree (Islamia University) of Pakistan. In 2005, he was recommended by the Government of Pakistan to the prestigious EDP program conducted by the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania (USA). Mr. Khan has enrolled as Fulbright scholar at the LLM (Energy Law and Natural resources) program of University of Oklahoma's School of Law. Mr. Khan has served as an active member on the Rules and Policy Committee of Pakistan's Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies' Association of Pakistan (PPEPCA). He is the member of AIPN since 2006 and is an active member of Energy Lawyers Association of Pakistan (ELAP). He has worked as Micro credit officer at the Bank of Khyber, Sales and Business Development Manager at Unilever and is currently associated with the leading National Oil Company (NOC) of Pakistan (OGDCL) as Deputy Chief (Commercial & International Business Development). He has more than 12 years of experience in the strategic planning, legal/commercial and international business development sections of the upstream oil and gas business. Mr. Khan resumed his position with OGDCL in May, 2014 after completion of his Masters program in Energy and Natural Resources Law from the University of Oklahoma School of Law.
