Silke Popp is an associate with Dufford & Brown, P.C. She concentrates her practice on natural resources and real estate law with a focus on drafting oil and gas title opinions and researching mineral ownership and surface use issues.
Silke provides oil and gas clients with drilling and division order title opinions, and works with title and land departments in resolving surface use and mineral ownership curative issues.
In addition to title review, Silke also works with individuals and smaller entities in transactional real estate matters involving lease agreements, easements, mining claims, and other associated mineral and surface ownership issues.
Silke earned her B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park, her M.A. in War Studies from King's College, London and her J.D. from the University of Denver. Her interest in oil and gas law was sparked after completing an internship with the Department of Interior, Solicitor's Office located in Billings, Montana. Silke is admitted to practice in Colorado and Montana.
