Damilola is a Senior Associate with the Oil and Gas Practice of Olaniwun Ajayi LP, Nigeria's foremost full service commercial law firm, where he recently received the Managing Partner's commendation for being the Best Performing Counsel in two consecutive years. He is called to the Nigerian Bar and is a member of the Financial Services Lawyers Association (UK) He holds an LL.M in International Business Law from the University College, London.

Damilola has advised on several transactions which traverse the entire spectrum of the Nigerian oil and gas industry, including upstream asset acquisitions, re-entry operations into field developments, financing the development of petroleum assets, advising on local content compliance issues, the review and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements for Natural Gas, LPG, Propane, NGLs and LNG and the drafting and review of Farm In agreements, Farm Out Agreements, Joint Operating Agreement, Side Agreements, Deeds of Assignment amongst others. Damilola also advises on a wide range of finance matters including corporate finance, project finance and security arrangements. Recently, he advised on the USD 3.2 Billion Financing for the development of an integrated refinery and petrochemical complex by the Dangote Group.
