Drawing significant resources from Bechtel, Nexant was formed in 2000 to provide technology solutions and consulting services to the global energy industry. Since its creation, Nexant has grown approximately 60% per year, established eight offices in the US and abroad, raised several outside rounds of capital, and concluded four acquisitions. Nexant has developed and brought to market state-of-the art software products and solutions, and developed a portfolio of more than 120 consulting and technology projects in nearly 30 countries. Revenue for 2002 was in excess of $53 million; projected revenue for 2003 is approximately $74 million.
