Evelyn Dietsche has substantial industry as well as academic experience in the natural resource sectors. She works for several organisations as a corporate sustainability consultant and strategic advisor. These include BG Group for which she has covered a range of corporate social performance and wider sustainability issues, and several consultancies for which she has led and contributed to assignments commissioned by mining companies, industry associations, international development agenies and NGOs. Evelyn was a lecturer with CEPMLP and in an honorary capacity continues to teach on the public policy challenges of countries that rely on exploiting natural resources.
She holds a postgraduate Diploma in public policy from the University of Konstanz, an MSc in development economics from SOAS, and a PhD in resource sector governance from CEPMLP.
