Emmanuel Graham

Emmanuel Graham was the Extractive Governance Policy Advisor at the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), Ghana. His master's thesis was on "The Contribution of civil society in avoiding natural resource curse in Ghana: The case of Oil". He holds a B. A and MPhil in Political Science from University of Ghana. He was a Teaching and Research assistant at the Political Science Department University of Ghana from 2010 to 2011 (as national service personnel) and 2013 to 2014 (Graduate Assistant).
In terms of Research interest Emmanuel's focus is on the extractive sector of Ghana, West Africa and Africa at large. He has some publications in international peer-reviewed journals such as Africa Review and Insight on Africa Journal. As political scientist, his research interest is the political economy of Africa and Ghana in particular, looking at natural resource governance and management in Africa.
Emmanuel is currently a Graduate Assistant at the University of Windsor in Canada.
