Deana Silverstone, BA, BCL, LLB (McGill University) is a Canadian lawyer with extensive experience in drafting legal frameworks to implement reform in the petroleum sector, particularly with regard to upstream petroleum activities. She has provided advice to Canadian government departments and agencies and on various aspects of management and development of petroleum activities and, on the international level has acted as legal and regulatory expert on several projects related to drafting of new petroleum-related legislation and implementation initiatives, including South Sudan, Madagascar and Somalia.
