Ms. Kolbikova is engaged in research of international oil and gas markets in terms of their strategic development and pricing, as well as projects related to global energy balances, technologies and government policies that affect the Russian oil and gas industry. In 2016 she completed post graduate studies and defended her PhD thesis.

In 2014, she worked at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO Energy Centre as a Junior Analyst. In 2013, she graduated from the Institute of World Economy and Business at People's Friendship University of Russia as a Specialist of World economy and translator in professional communications.
