Deyan Draguiev

Deyan Draguiev is an attorney-at-law. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in English law from University of Manchester; Master of Laws degree from Sofia University, and in international commercial law from King's College, London, and his PhD is in international litigation and arbitration from University of Hamburg. He is also a Member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple (London, UK) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London, UK), and is listed as arbitrator on the panels of several arbitral institutions such as Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) arbitration court and Asian International Arbitration Center.
Deyan has more than 10 years of professional experience, mostly at the dispute resolution department of UK international law firm CMS, as director of legal department of a fintech/insuretech international corporate group, and a claims management company.
Deyan currently resides in Sofia, Bulgaria and manages a law practice focused on corporate & commercial law and dispute resolution in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. His dispute resolution profile includes international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings before institutions such as ICSID, ICC, LCIA, etc. He has published extensively in international law journals on issues of international litigation and arbitration and private international law and is author of "Interim Measures in Cross-Border Civil and Commercial Disputes: Interim Relief Proceedings in International Litigation and Arbitration", published by Springer in 2023.
