Andreas Xenofontos
Profile
Mr. Xenofontos is a qualified Advocate-Legal Counsel and Academic practicing the Law in the Republic of Cyprus, concentrating his practice in International Energy, Oil and Gas Law, Corporate and Commercial law, and International Arbitration. In parallel, Mr. Xenofontos combines his practice with academic research and teaching in International Energy Law collaborating with the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus as an Associate Lecturer, and contributing on esteemed publications.
Moreover, he worked as a research fellow at Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels, being responsible for the drafting of the "In Depth Review of the investment climate and market structure of the Energy Sector of Cyprus", providing important policy recommendations to the Ministry of Energy of Cyprus.
He holds LL.B Degree from the University of Cyprus, LL.M Degree in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from the Queen Mary University of London, and M.Sc. Degree in International Oil and Gas Management from the University of Dundee (CEPMLP). He is a member of the Nicosia Bar Association, Cyprus Bar Association, and of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN).
