Rodrigo is an experienced Oil & Gas specialist with over 15 years experience. He has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineer and a Master of Science in Energy Planning, both from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As a former executive of Petrobras (Brazilian national oil company), he managed exploration projects and led several international joint-ventures in Africa, Asia and Europe, representing his company and negotiating agreements with international partners and government officials. As a researcher, he wrote papers and articles in peer-reviewed journals like Energy Policy, industry magazines like Petroleum Economist, as well as presented some of his research in prestigious forums such as World Petroleum Congress and World Gas Conference. His research is focused on E&P fiscal systems and how they impact the oil industry profitability.
