David is Partner in the Brussels office of Fieldfisher LLP, Brussels and heads the Energy & Utilities Practice.

He advises Belgian and international clients in the energy and utilities (including water and waste) since 1999. His areas of practice include strategic advice and assistance in the liberalisation of the energy and transport markets including competition issues. He also pleads frequently before Belgian commercial and administrative courts, arbitration institutions and European Courts.

David graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and holds a Certificate of London School of Economics. David speaks fluent French, English, Dutch, German and Spanish. He is proficient in Russian.

David is included since many years in rankings of Chambers, Legal 500, Best Lawyers in Belgium and Who's Who Legal and is guest lecturer for the University of Aberdeen.
