Profile

Farideh Shabani Jahromi, Ph.D. in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Tehran is one of the youngest Assistant Professors at Kharazmi University, Tehran, Iran. She is a Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Tehran as well, specializing in international trade law, international negotiations, investment contracts and complicated industrial contracts particularly energy contracts. She is also a member of the Iran Bar Association.

Farideh is a graduate of the University of Tehran (B.A (Law), L.L.M (International Trade and Economic Law) and Ph.D. (Oil and Gas law)). She is the author of the first book in drilling law entitled "Offshore Oil and Gas Well Drilling Law" as well as of journal articles in the fields of energy and investment law.

She has served as a consultant or advisor to various leading foundations, organizations, and companies, including national and international, active in different sectors of industry such as oil and gas.
