John is an American attorney (New York Bar), with a dual-legal education and training in the U.S. common law and French civil law system. He is currently working as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C. Prior to this clerkship, he clerked at the Supreme Court in the Seychelles and clerked with a federal judge in the U.S. District Court, District of South Carolina; he has also completed a traineeship at a Parisian law firm and a summer associateship at a large firm in the U.S. John is fluent in French and English and is developing a specialization in commercial and investment arbitration in the African context. He has a wide-interest in legal and economic matters involving sub-Saharan Africa.
