Kristian Whitaker is an associate in King & Spalding's London office. Kristian has experience of advising clients in relation to a range of oil and gas and LNG matters including M&A and project developments. Kristian has advised companies on projects, acquisitions and disposals throughout Asia, North Africa and the UK.

Before joining the firm, Kristian was seconded to an international energy company, advising on matters spanning the range of the company's oil and gas exploration, development and production assets. This included advising on exploration asset transfers, the construction of an FPSO in Asia, the development of an offshore asset in the North Sea and decommissioning security arrangements in relation to its producing assets.
