Lilia Alonzo is counsel in the firm’s Mexico City office and a member of Mayer Brown’s Global Energy and Infrastructure Group. She advises clients on infrastructure, oil and gas, power and corporate matters with a focus on Mexico. Lilia is experienced with Mexico’s logistics industry as she worked as in-house lawyer in a major carrier company and serve as external counsel for a Mexican railway concessionaire. Through her career, she has advised major transport companies in regulatory and corporate matters. She has also participated as Mexican counsel for M&A deals within a broad range industries, including transport, power, oil and gas, consumer goods and telecommunications. Her experience includes providing legal advice with respect to investments, corporate restructurings and divestments for highly regulated industries.
