Jordie P.J. Pettit

Jordie Pettit is a legal practitioner at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) in Sydney, Australia. His expertise is in developing renewable energy projects including wind, solar, hydrogen and battery technologies. Previously, Jordie worked in private practice with one of Australia's largest commercial law partnerships, specialising in environmental and planning litigation.
Jordie is also a research associate at the Centre for Energy and Natural Resources Innovation and Transformation (CENRIT) at Macquarie University, with his research concentrated on law reform and regulatory challenges arising in the renewable energy transition.
A graduate of the Australian National University, Jordie completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of International Relations. His studies included exchange at the University of Alberta, Canada, with a focus on international carbon tax regimes and the interchange of human rights and the environment.
