Foster Asamani holds a PhD in law from the Centre for Energy Law, Kings College, University of Aberdeen and currently a Post-doctoral Law researcher with a passionate interest in corporate governance, ESG, renewable energy policy, regulation of energy sector institutions & law, and sustainability transitions to low carbon energy systems.
Foster obtained an LLB law degree from the University of London and an LLM in Corporate Governance. He is an Associate Member of the ICSA. After a short spell in a private commercial niche law firm in London, Joined Transport for London (TfL), advising on corporate law compliance issues and then moving on to managing large railway commercial contracts. Foster's research interest focuses on deploying legislation as a catalyst to promote investment in renewable energy, thereby ensuring a sustainable and "just transition" to a low-carbon economy.
