Rebecca Draeger

Rebecca Draeger is a doctoral student at the Energy Planning Program at COPPE/UFRJ and a researcher at CenergiaLab from the same institution. She holds a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and a master's degree in Energy Planning from COPPE/UFRJ. She worked with Oil & Gas regulation at Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). She developed her dissertation on improving the modelling of crude oil quality and refining schemes, and their representation in the CenergiaLab's in-house global integrated assessment model (COFFEE). Her main research interests include just transition, stranded assets, integrated assessment models, carbon capture and storage and climate change mitigation.
