Profile

Lukas has represented clients in commercial litigation before the English, Singapore, and Malaysian courts as well as in domestic and international commercial arbitrations seated across Asia (SIAC, AIAC, HKIAC, LMAA and ICC Rules). He is part of Dechert's Singapore international arbitration team that won 'International Team of the Year' at the Legal 500 Southeast Asia Awards 20/21 and was recently described in the 2022 edition of Legal 500 as having 'a sharp mind', 'good advocacy skills' and 'a bright future ahead of him.'

He is the co-author of the Singapore Chapter of Arbitration International (2018, Sweet & Maxwell) and A Guide to the SIAC Arbitration Rules (Oxford University Press 3^rd ed. 2022).

Lukas graduated with a B.A. and M.A. in Law from the University of Cambridge and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
