Andrés Ferraris is a Managing Partner at EconLogic Consulting. He specializes in valuation, damages, and regulatory analysis. He has provided expert testimony and advice to companies and sovereign states in relation to regulated and non-regulated activities in Latin America and Europe in several industries, including utilities, oil & gas, power generation and transportation, infrastructure, hot-briquetted iron, steel and seamless pipes, cement, stock market, banking and finance, insurance, transportation, fixed and mobile telecommunications, satellite services, real estate, food and beverage production and marketing, testing laboratories, waste management & treatment, and water & sewerage services.
During 2019 he worked as a consultant at Energy Consilium. Between 2015 and 2018, he served as National Director of Tariff Policy and as National Director of the Economics of Hydrocarbons in the Ministry of Energy in Argentina. He previously worked as a Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon and as a Senior Associate at LECG.
He holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of San Andrés and an EMBA from the IAE Business School; he also did the MA in Economics at the University of San Andrés where he obtained a scholarship. He has taught economics and finance at UdeSA and at the UBA.
