PhD researcher. Currently working on Right to water and access to water as right and common good. She has knowledge about legal and political water framework in Cuba and EU. She is professor of Law at UCLV and contribute with her PHD research outputs to the project's objectives.
Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas (UCLV) - Subordinated to the Ministry of Higher Education, with a registered office at Carretera a Camajuaní km 5 ½, Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba. Its mission is to contribute to the education of comprehensive professionals, in the areas of Technical Sciences, Economics, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Exact and Natural Sciences, and to contribute to the continued and systemic improvement of human resources, as well as realise significant scientific, technologically innovating, and cultural work of great impact on the regional, national and international environment. Currently, it is the most multidisciplinary university in Cuba. All the study programmes, bachelor and postgraduate, are accredited by the Junta de Acreditación Nacional. Four master programmes and 4 PhDs programmes are accredited by Asociación Iberoamericana de Posgrado. UCLV emphasises a research component from the lowest level of education to the highest one. There are 12 scientific research lines based on the "Sustainable Development Goals" such as biotechnology, environmental protection for sustainable development, energy sustainable development, food production, habitat, and community development among others. UCLV received in 2018 the order Carlos J. Finlay from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
