Albert is currently the Senior Energy Trading Analyst at the Electricity Company of Ghana Limited. He also a member of the power purchase agreement review committee of the Electricity Company of Ghana. He formerly worked with the Energy Commission of Ghana as an Assistant Statistician. At the Energy Commission, Albert was assigned to the Electricity Market Oversight Panel Secretariat (EMOPS) where he coordinated research and reviewed data for publication. At the Energy Commission, he was a member of the Market Rules review committee, and Ancillary Service Pricing review committee.
He has experience in identifying, gathering, cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and transforming complex data sets into penetrable reports with the use of STATA, Python, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, IBM SPSS and Power BI. Also, has a research interest in finance, macro, micro, development, and energy economics.
Albert has a Master of Science in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a charter in Finance and Investment from the Chartered Institute of Financial and Investment Analyst, Ghana and a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Ghana.
