Simina is a qualified international lawyer with cross knitting compliance experience covering EU energy regulation, competition and international trade law, sanctions, data privacy, business and corporate boards' ethics and governance. Her diverse expertise spans private practice (top tier international law firms) for a decade spent in Brussels, London and Bucharest, as well as six years in-house in Switzerland, where she is currently leading the compliance activities of a European energy infrastructure company. She holds a Law Degree from University of Bucharest, a LL.M. in competition law from Queen Mary University of London, Annual Training in Energy from Florence School of Regulation and other ethics and compliance certifications. Simina is also a passionate speaker and writer on EU energy regulation (especially EU gas infrastructures), competition law and effective compliance management, and she has been acknowledged in Brussels as a '30 in their 30s' notable woman competition professional in private practice.
