Almira Moronne is a partner at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP who specializes in M&A and financing transactions for companies involved in natural resources, specialty metals, and advanced manufacturing. She represents junior, mid-level and major mining companies at all stages of project development, as well as the investors and lenders that finance mining projects and the strategic minerals supply chain through traditional equity, lending, royalty, and streaming arrangements. She also works with clients in a wide range of industries in cross-border transactions and joint ventures, with expertise in navigating the national security screening process under the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

Prior to joining DGS, Ms. Moronne worked as a foreign legal advisor at a prominent law firm in Jakarta, Indonesia. There, she advised foreign and domestic investors in mining, agriculture, infrastructure, financial services, and technology, including the first Indonesian "unicorn" companies and globally dominant internet companies. During her time in Indonesia, she also served as a policy advisor to WWF-Indonesia, helping the organization develop guidelines on land use and marine conservation.

Ms. Moronne earned her J.D., with honors, from Duke University, where she served as a staff editor of the Duke Law Journal and a research and articles editor of the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum. She also holds a B.A., with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ms. Moronne serves on numerous boards and committees. She is currently co-chair of the DGS Women's Network and is a past co-chair of the American Bar Association Mining Committee. She serves as a trustee of The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law, where she is also a member of the Financial Advisory Committee. She is an active member of the Women's Energy Network, Women in Mining, and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE). She previously served as a co-chair of the Legal Services and Programs Committees of the Colorado Women's Bar Association.
