Sally is a Fulbright scholar, and she holds a Master of Laws, specializing in Energy Law, with distinction obtained from Vermont Law School, USA in 2020. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (honors) obtained from the University of Malawi in 2010. Sally has worked extensively in Energy Law and Regulation, Natural Resource Governance, Resiliency & Sustainability.

Sally was called to the Malawi Bar in 2011. She practices the law in all Courts of Malawi and is a member of the Malawi Law Society. As a practicing attorney, Sally has significant experience in energy disputes resolution matters in litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Sally has also provided legal advisory services on several energy transactions and commercial agreements. She is also a member of the Women Lawyers Association (WLA), a philanthropic association that provides pro-bono legal services to vulnerable women and girls.
