Erica H. Pencak

Erica H. Pencak is an Attorney-Advisor on the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) Energy Transition Team in the U.S. Department of Commerce Office of General Counsel. Prior to joining CLDP, Ms. Pencak spent 14 years in the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she enforced civil and criminal provisions of federal environmental, wildlife, and worker safety laws. She also developed and delivered international capacity-building programming aimed at combatting nature crimes. Ms. Pencak holds a J.D., cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.A. in Sociology from The George Washington University, where she graduated summa cum laude and studied for a year at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
