Francisca Gallegos Aguirre

Francisca Gallegos Aguirre is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), as well as a researcher at the Center for Climate Change, Energy, and Environmental Law (CCEEL) at UEF Law School. She is part of the 'Training for a Hydrogen Economy based on a Renewable Energy Society in the Anthropocene' (THERESA) project, funded by the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, which focuses on advancing hydrogen regulation. Her Ph.D. research specifically examines hydrogen certification schemes.
Before transitioning to academia, Francisca gained valuable experience in both the private and public sectors, where she dealt with various legal complexities, enriching her understanding of regulatory frameworks and the intersection of law and public policy.
