Diran Ajayi is the Managing Partner at AALP, a full specialist Nigerian law firm that provides best in class services legal services and specialises in commercial law, Nigerian oil and gas law, international energy transactions, and energy dispute settlements. He has been involved in groundbreaking transactions in Nigeria's oil and gas sector, initially leading the energy and projects practice at a top law firm and later as General Counsel and Head of Compliance at a local exploration and production company in a JV with NNPC and two other partners.

Diran holds an LL.M degree in petroleum taxation and finance from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee and another LL.M in international business transactions from the Washington College of Law at the American University in Washington, D.C. He is qualified to practise law in Nigeria and is admitted to practise law in the State of New York and in Texas.
