Vanessa Yazici is a German-qualified lawyer with an academic and professional focus on energy, environmental, and climate law. She completed an LL.M. in Energy and Climate Law at the University of Groningen.

Her research interests particularly lie at the intersection of environmental protection, industrial transformation, and infrastructure regulation. Through her research on the German Carbon Dioxide Storage Act, hydrogen infastrucutre financing models, and European energy governance, she has developed a strong comparative and interdisciplinary perspective.
