Rachel Goldwyn

Rachel Goldwyn is the Conflict Programme and Policy Advisor for CARE International UK, a non-governmental organization working on poverty around the world. Formerly Rachel worked at International Alert, leading the development of the 'Conflict Sensitive Business Practice' methodology for the oil, gas and mining sectors. Also at International Alert, Rachel worked to build capacity in conflict sensitivity among development and humanitarian actors, with a particular focus on Sri Lanka. Rachel has worked extensively with the pro-democracy movement for Burma and is a certified conflict facilitator. Rachel holds a Masters from the Development Studies Institute of the London School of Economics.
