Ben Rosen, a licensed U.S. attorney, has eleven years of experience in advising Americans in Mexico. Ben's practice focuses on real estate law and development, corporate, and cross-border transactions. Since settling in Mexico in 1997, Ben—a dual American and Mexican citizen—has served as a bridge linking investors and entrepreneurs from one country to the other.
Ben has authored articles published in various business and legal media on topics such as US-Mexico cross-border energy and environmental law; the constitutionality of the PEMEX Multiple Service Contracts; international letters rogatory; enforcing foreign judgments in Mexico; privatization and liberalization of Mexico's airport and oil & gas sectors, respectively; the Mexican foreign investment law; the Mexican Maquiladora program; and government bidding procedures, among others.
Ben holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Oregon (1992), and a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Seattle University (1996), where he authored an independent study on International Business Transactions between the United States and Mexico. Ben is admitted to practice law in Washington State.
