Dr. Nutavoot Pongsiri is Assistant Governor (Human Resources and Organization Development Group), Bank of Thailand. He received his B.E. Degree in Chemical Engineering and M.M Degree in Management from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and a M.Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA. Dr. Nutavoot graduated with a Ph.D. in Development Administration and Management from the University of Manchester, UK. He also received Graduate Diploma from King Prajadhipok's Institute, Capital Market Academy (CMA), and the National Defence College (NDC) of Thailand and attended the Oxford University Advance Management Program (AMD).

On the international front, Dr. Nutavoot was a visiting researcher of the UK Centre on Regulation and Competition (2001-2005). He has also given numerous scholarly and professional presentations internationally at the International Conference on Public-Private Sector Partnerships (PPPs) and the Regulation Workshops. His researches have appeared in a range of publications, including International Journal of Public Sector Management; Public Policy and Administration Journal; International Public Management Review; Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS); UNCTAD's Services, Development and Trade; Journal of HR Intelligence; Oil, Gas & Energy Law Intelligence; SPE Production & Facilities Journal; and Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research Journal. He is also a columnist for the Nation, Prachachart Turakit, Krungthep Turakij newspapers, People magazine and HR Society magazine .

Dr. Nutavoot has been President of the Personnel Management Association of Thailand (PMAT), a member of the Committee on Compensation & Benefits - Deposit Protection Agency (DPA), a member of the Committee on Personnel Management - Office of the Education Council and Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), Advisor to Association of Provident Fund of Thailand, a board member of Institute for Continuing Education and Human Resources (ICEHR), and Human Resources Institute (HRI) (2012-2015) - Thammasat University.

He has been a part-time lecturer at National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and Thammasat University. Dr. Nutavoot has also been invited to make management and leadership presentations to several organizations e.g. The Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC), Ministry of Interior, Judicial Training Institute, PTT Public Company Limited, Thai Oil Group, the Siam Cement Group (SCG), the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), ASEAN Studies Centre-Singapore, and United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

Dr. Nutavoot received an honorary Thailand Top 100 HR award from the Human Resources Institute (HRI), Thammasat University in 2007.
