Philippine government wins World Bank arbitration case vs SGS

A World Bank arbitration panel has ruled in favour of the Philippine government in a case brought before the international body by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS). In a statement, the Department of Finance disclosed that a three-man panel created under the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) instructed SGS to pursue before a local court its claims against the Philippine government.
