Professor Louis Wells of the Harvard Business School raised two questions for consideration by OGEMID participants about allegations by a host State of corruption with respect to contracts that are the object of arbitration claims. In a number of private investor-State arbitrations, the State has claimed that contracts with investors have been obtained through corrupt means.
