p>Brussels, 16 July 2004: The 51 governments that participated in the Energy Charter process
have given the green light to resume negotiations on a legally binding international agreement on
energy transit issues. This conclusion was reached during a meeting on 16 July 2004 in Brussels
of the Energy Charter Conference, the governing body of the Energy Charter process.
